A man was pulled from the water at Breed’s Pond in Lynn Woods on Sunday and later died at Salem Hospital, police said.

First responders found him around 7:20 p.m. and took him to the hospital, where he passed away, according to Lt. Rick Connick from Lynn Police. Connick did not specify the exact time of death.

Less than four hours later, around 11 p.m., another man was pulled from Sluice Pond, about 2 miles away. He was also taken to Salem Hospital in serious condition and later died. He was identified as 60-year-old Michael Petkewich.

These incidents in Lynn happened just a day after a 29-year-old man drowned in a lake in Lunenburg on Saturday.
