A guy crashed his motorcycle in northeast Spokane. His name was Jayme Scamolla, and he was 38 years old. Sadly, he died from his injuries in the hospital.
The crash happened around 2 p.m. on May 21 near Queen Avenue and Julia Street. Medics tried to help him, but he didn’t make it.
A neighbor saw the motorcycle sliding on the road and then found the man with bad injuries farther up the road.
The police found out that the guy was riding north on Rebecca Street when he lost control near Queen Avenue. Also, they found out that the motorcycle he was riding had been stolen.
People living nearby are worried because there are often speeding problems in the area. One woman said her kids can’t play outside because of it. She even mentioned that her family is thinking of moving away because of these concerns.
