Three young men are in jail at the Howard Young Correctional Institution because the Wilmington Police arrested them for drug-related offenses.
The police arrested them after stopping their car on May 23, 2024, on Concord Avenue.
After stopping the car, the police searched a house on West 26th Street using a warrant.
The police found around 200 grams of marijuana mixed with fentanyl, over $1,300 in cash, and items used for drugs.
Nazir Cassidy, 19, Kharon Martin, 19, and Deshonne Moore, 20, were charged with:
- Possession of a Controlled Substance with the Intent to Sell in a Large Quantity
- Possession of a Controlled Substance in a Large Quantity
- Conspiracy (Second Degree)
- Possession of Items Used for Drugs
Cassidy’s bail was set at $102,600, and Martin and Moore’s bail was set at $52,500, all to be paid in cash.
