Police Seize Drugs Worth $600,000 in Burien Operation

On May 21, 2024, police in Burien arrested two people for selling drugs near City Hall and the District Court Parking lot. The investigation found that they were part of a group that regularly sold drugs in King County, including White Center, Shoreline, and SeaTac.

Search warrants were also executed in Edmonds, near Maplewood Middle School, and in Lynnwood. Here are the results of the operation:

  • 15.65 pounds of meth
  • 1.07 pounds of heroin
  • 2.22 pounds of cocaine
  • 3.33 pounds of fentanyl powder
  • 59,001 M/30 fentanyl pills
  • 795 fraudulent Xanax bars
  • $60,705 in cash from drug sales

Two people were arrested on drug-related charges. The drugs seized were worth an estimated $600,000.

The police commend their deputies and detectives for their hard work in removing drugs from the area and making the community safer.
