The California Highway Patrol reported that a male pedestrian was fatally impacted by at least one vehicle on Highway 99 in Turlock on Monday morning, having been struck “multiple times.”
As of late Monday morning, the individual who was slain had not been identified.
The CHP reported that the man was discovered on the eastern portion of the West Main Street on-ramp shortly before 5 a.m. on Monday.
According to the CHP’s collision summary, it appeared that he had been struck or run over by at least one vehicle. Additionally, a witness reported that she observed a vehicle drive over him while he was lying on the ground. No driver who struck the victim reported the incident.
