A Brooklyn man shot his girlfriend and then killed himself after an argument about money and their kids, his mother said on Monday.

The couple, Teddy Knight, 35, and Tanezia Blockwood, 29, had ongoing issues that turned deadly late in the morning. Teddy’s mother, Norma Knight, told The Post in a phone interview that she witnessed the tragedy inside their Midwood apartment.

“He went to a cupboard, took out a gun, and started shooting her,” said Norma, 65, who lives with the couple. “He shot her twice and she fell. Then he stomped on her face.”

After shooting his girlfriend, Teddy shot himself in front of his shocked mother.

Police found their bodies with gunshot wounds to the head around 10:10 a.m. near the kitchen.

Norma said the couple had been arguing overnight, which kept her awake.

“Last night, I heard them making noise in their bedroom,” she said. “I didn’t get up to see what happened.”

The argument continued in the morning. Norma saw Tanezia packing clothes into a laundry bag. “They started cussing and fighting, then ended up in the bathroom,” she said.

The fighting continued until Teddy left and came back with a gun.

The couple had been dealing with problems related to their children, money, and rent for a long time, Norma said. “It finally boiled over.”
