Jayson Steven Jones, aged 46, from Baltimore, and Kayla McCaslin, aged 25, from Glen Burnie, are facing charges after an investigation into a man wanted for drug and weapon crimes.
On Thursday, May 30, just before 1 p.m., detectives from the Anne Arundel County Police Department were searching for a person with an open warrant in the area of Southbridge Drive and South Hampton Road in Glen Burnie.
Jones was arrested under the warrant, and police found eight bags of suspected crack cocaine and cash during a search. McCaslin, who was driving, was also searched, and drugs were found on her.
A search of a home on Southbridge Drive led to the seizure of:
- Black Glock Model 19, 9mm, semi-automatic handgun
- Chrome Ruger, 38 Special revolver
- Black, Davis Industries, Model P380, .380 caliber, semi-automatic handgun
- 87.21 grams of crack cocaine
- 20.68 grams of powder cocaine
- 30.75 grams of MDMA
- 1.62 grams of Clonazepam
- $8,845 in cash
