A 6-year-old girl named Lucy Morgan from Stockholm, New Jersey, died this week from head injuries. The injuries happened when she was accidentally hit by a badminton racquet during a family vacation in Maine, according to the police.
Lucy died on Wednesday at Maine Medical Center in Portland after the accident, which took place around noon on June 1 in Limerick, about 30 miles west of Portland, as reported by Maine State Police.
Lucy and her siblings were playing badminton in the front yard of a lake cottage in Limerick when she was hit, based on the police and her father’s accounts.
