Live Wire features the B Street Theatre’s “Re-Imagine”  with host Ray Tatar this Wednesday at 5pm on ch. 17.

B Street Theatre’s virtual show “Re-Imagine” is a new social justice series that showcases various plays readings, music, dance, poetry, movie screenings and more,  created by Black artists and other peoples of color.  The vision of “Re-Imagine” is to host theatrical experiences “By Us. For EVERYONE.”  in order to share and amplify the voices of those who have been unheard for far too long.

Founded by actor Timothy Busfield in 1986, B Street Theatre continues it’s 25 years and more to promote education literacy, social interaction, and cultural enrichment through high quality theatre arts and playwriting for children and adults. The theatre first started out as Theatre for Children, Inc, a touring theatre company for children. The tour, “B Street

Theatre School Tour”, featured performances 12 times per week, 38 weeks a year for the community. Eventually, B Street Theatre (formed in 1991) expanded and has produced plays that are  world, national, West Coast or regional premieres. With contemporary productions ranging from popular classics to first time debuts, B Street Theatre continues to keep critics raving and audiences coming back for more.
