Winter Bird Festival join host Ray Tatar this Wednesday.

The 14th Annual Winter Bird Festival is going virtual to provide an online celebration of birds. A Galt tradition, the Winter Bird Festival connects the community to nature and help it grow in the knowledge and love of birding.

The festival will have a Youth Art Contest, Bird Drawing Classes, Three Virtual Tours hosted by The Consumes River Preserve, as well as Keynote Speaker: John Muir Laws.

Incorporated in 1946, Galt is a growing community with approximately 25,000 residents located approximately 20 miles south of Sacramento along Highway 99. The city is known for it’s annual Independence Day Celebration and the Winter Bird Festival. Sports and Recreation are a key factor to the Galt community, with a variety of activities provided for the youth and adults.
