For the Love of Cinema welcomes filmmakers and enthusiasts as they gather together for an event, Women of Film Networking Event in Sacramento on Saturday January 18th. This free event is open to those of all ages and includes a speaker, light snacks and networking opportunities.

Eleven local filmmakers connect with each other and fans at the Status Quill Film Event happening on Friday January 17th. After the films are shown, the filmmakers will lead a Q & A followed by a mixer with the audience.

On January 19th prose writers Nancy Schoellkopf and Katya Mills read selections from their books and discuss their writing journeys from at the Sacramento Poetry Center. After guests are invited to share a 100 words of their own prose at the open mic.
