
Red carpet world premiere at the Crest Theatre for the 2019 “A Place Called Sacramento” Film Festival
Access Sacramento presents full televised coverage of the stage presentations and world premiere of 10 original 10-minute movies as part of the 20th annual “A Place Called Sacramento” Film Festival beginning Friday, Nov. 29 at 7 p.m.
The program presents the red-carpet world premiere of 10 winning screenplays that were turned into movies; All featuring the writers, producers, directors, actors and crew from the Sacramento region.
For a third consecutive year, the films were presented to a sold-out audience of more than 900 at the historic Crest Theatre in downtown Sacramento.

Hall of Fame Honoree and “A Place Called Sacramento” Film Festival founder Ron Cooper
Nine specialty awards for acting and technical areas are also presented. This program also honors Ron Cooper and Martin Anaya, the two founders of the festival, with Hall of Fame recognition. Plus a special youth mini-festival grand prize winning short film is also featured.
