For the second time in its history, the Rosemont High School Wolverine football team carries an undefeated record into its fifth game as it prepares to meet the visiting Kennedy Cougars Friday evening.

On defense, Rover Thomas Walker, DL Taylen Taylor, LBs Dante Adams and Darion Wilson, and DB Rajan Day must lead a better effort by a defensive unit that has allowed more than 40 points per game.
In direct contrast, Rosemont Head Coach, Rick Wanlin guides a confident team that has rolled to four easy victories while averaging 41 points per game.
Senior QB Kyle Masterson has fired nine TD passes this season, seven of them to WR DeMarco Brodnax. RBs Zion Gedeon and Nick Lopez have combined for nearly 450 yards and five touchdowns.
Defensively, the Wolverines have been stingy, allowing fewer than seven points per game.
It’s a tall task facing visiting Kennedy in search of its first victory of the season while playing the third of five consecutive road games against the host Wolverines.
