Then the upcoming event the Sacramento Film and Music Festival launches some exciting information including a competition that just opened to filmmakers.

Have you ever thought your child through creative writing can be empowered? By using creative writing, 916 Ink has worked with youth grades 3-12 to develop confident writers and published authors. They have published over 3000 youth writers and 100 professional books! Their upcoming “Hot Literary Nights,” happening September 7th, will be a delicious event inspired by literacy that will include small bites, music and live youth author readings.

Sacramento Film and
Music Festival
Celebrating its 20th year, the Sacramento Film and Musical Festival (SF&MF) returns to town September 18th to 22nd. This international festival features filmmakers from around the globe. SF&MF also features a 10 x 10 Filmmaker challenge. Given required themes and other elements such as props, line or dialogue etc., teams have 10 days to make a 10 minute film. These films them are shown at the festival.
