The Florin Market Place is held every 1st and 3rd Saturday at the Sojourner Truth Multicultural Art Museum, at 2251 Florin Road from 12pm to 6 pm. Brother Ra, the creator of the African Market Place, talks about why he started the African Market Place and it’s importance. The African Market Place gives people of color a chance to grow their businesses and for the black community of Sacramento a place to thrive.
The next African Market Place will take place on Saturday, September 15th. A workshop will be held for black women to discuss the impacts of the absence of fathers. Visit the African Market’s Facebook page at www.facebook.com/SacramentoAMP for more information!
