The Antelope Titans easily handled the Whitney Wildcats 38-14 to boost the Titans overall record to 9-1 and to lock a 2nd place 6-1 finish in the Capital Valley Conference and a assure a playoff bid during Access Sacramento Hometown Sports Game of the Week.

Although the Wildcats were in the lead 7-3 a the end of the 1st quarter, the Titans controlled the balance of the game with long drives and clock control.

Running back Mhari Roberts ran for three touchdowns with other scores by Moses Paul and Keith Brown. In all, Antelope ran 59 times for 279 yards and just five of those were for more than 10 yards.

Antelope junior quarterback Nathan Lucero also completed 9 of 11 passes for 62 yards to marshall 374 yards in total offense against Whitney’s 274 yards.
