GABY stands for Grants Advisory Board for Youth. The Sacramento Region Community Foundation’s created the board in 2002 with a mission to help youth flourish their knowledge of humanitarianism, skills for serving their community, and resources to effectuate youth-led projects. Since then the board has granted over $437,000 to 228 youth-led projects throughout the Sacramento region.
