This year’s conference will take place in California’s State Capital at the 15-story Downtown Holiday Inn Capitol Plaza. The conference will gather Community Media professionals and advocates from the Western Region – Arizona, California, Colorado, Hawaii, Nevada and New Mexico and from the Northwest Region – Oregon, Washington, Idaho plus other states throughout the West. Attendees seek ideas, and solutions to the challenges of operating and producing Public, Educational and Government (PEG) Access Television. Anticipate over 200 attendees representing 50 communities.

The event will kick-off Thursday evening with a “Meet and Greet” on the Delta King paddlewheel steamer/hotel in Old Sacramento. On Friday and Saturday expert speakers will serve as panelists on 20 panels, two opening plenary sessions and two special luncheon events. Ending the event Saturday night will be the annual WAVE Awards ceremony announcing the winners in 28 different categories and selected from more than 350 entries. Mark you calendars and save the dates. This is a once in decade opportunity for all interested in PEG access and community media.
