We are delighted to announce that we have an extra special guest keynoting our quarterly owner meeting: California Secretary of Agriculture Karen Ross. Please mark your calendar for Tuesday, June 5 at 7 p.m. to hear the Secretary talk about sustainable agriculture, co-op’s, and our state government’s efforts to help organic farmers.

A DAY of peace

The intent of Day of Peace is to bring awareness of HOW a Healthy Body, Quiet Mind and a Peaceful Heart create a sense of wellness and peace throughout everyday of our lives. Label GMOs will be tabling thru Organic Sacramento, and we will present a short talk on heritage seeds vs GMO seeds.

This runs concurrently with the Sunday Farmers Market and they have agreed to extend their hours.

Music and entertainment along with our Soles4Souls Labyrinth.

Sista O and D’vine Praize, Mercy Me! Band and Osayande’ who will be playing the African Drum as well as leading us in Zumba! The goal this year is to collect 20,000 pairs of shoes if you can bring any to donate!
