“Increase the Peace,” a family-oriented event to draw attention to violence prevention, will be held Saturday, April 28th at the South Sacramento Christian Center, 7710 Stockton Blvd., in Sacramento.
The event is sponsored by People Reaching Out, the South Sacramento Christian Center and Kaiser Permanente.
The day will include a special performance at 10:30 a.m. of Kaiser Permanente’s Educational Theatre Program production of Peace Signs, which uses theater to teach students how to resolve conflicts without violence.
A free lunch and free haircuts will be given to the first 1,000 attendees.
