The Sacramento Youth Council for Sustainable Communities is looking for young people who are actively participating in local advocacy projects and would like to attend a networking and collaboration event on March 24 in Downtown Sacramento. The plan is to bring together several different groups to work towards building the framework that will create a more sustainable Sacramento.
The primary focus of the collaboration will be to look into transportation challenges in the region, the types of activities are taking place to address these issues and how to facilitate the construction of a youth alliance to work together and advance progressive projects. The end goal of this effort is to improve regional transportation behaviors along with increasing access to fresh and affordable foods.
