The Crocker Art Museum welcomed more than 150 patrons and PCS supporters to the reprise showing of the ten 2011 PCS Festival Films. Access Sacramento Board Chair, Jo Ann Fuller noted, “It starts our 2012 activities on a positive note. We saw so many faces new to Access Sacramento and the film festival. I would expect to see many of them continue their involvement in our activities.”

The beautiful Crocker Auditorium was a very attractive venue for the showing. The first Thursday of each month, the Crocker has their “Film Frame” series featuring independent movies and retrospectives.

Rika Nelson, Crocker Manager of Public Programs, started the evening by welcoming the audience and encouraged
future attendance for a wide variety of wonderful and educational events. If you have questions about upcoming events call her at (916) 808-7382.

Ron Cooper, Access Sacramento Executive Director then explained the process to the audience and encourage attendees to begin writing a script for the 13th Annual PCS project. Joyce Bezazian, writer/producer for 2011 PCS Audience Favorite – “The Breakup” joined Cooper on-stage. Joyce invited the audience to get involved. “Imagine my surprise when my first script was selected and then honored at the film festival. You can do this!” she encouraged.
