A Cooking Class – Garnish Your Holiday Meals
Arden Hills Resort Club and Spa is hosting a class focused on pomegranates and cranberries and how to use them to enhance your holiday meal. The class will be taught by Chef Josh McLaughlin and will take place on at 6pm on Wednesday, December 7th. Tickets are $20.
An Antique Fair – Find A Unique Gift
On the second Sunday of every month, over 300 vendors gather at 2400 21st Street (between W and X Streets) for the Sacramento Antique Faire. The next Faire begins at 6:30am on Sunday, December 11th. It costs $3 to enter. Parking is free.
A Festival – Learn About Or Celebrate the Cultural Traditions of the African Diaspora
This Kwanzaa Family Festival will be hosted by the Crocker Art Museum and will feature African Art, an art class, storytelling, arts and crafts, music and dance performances, and more. This event is free for everyone and will take place on Monday, December 26th, from noon to 4pm.
A Tree Lighting – Watch the Christmas Tree Light Up and Do Some Free Ice Skating
The North Sacramento Chamber of Commerce is hosting a tree lighting ceremony at 5:30pm on Thursday, December 8th, at the Iceland Ice Skating Rink, on Del Paso Blvd. This event is free and will include cookies and hot chocolate with Santa, free ice skating and a free goodie bag for every child that attends.
A Craft Exhibition – Decorate With Homemade Crafts This Season and Take the Kids Along For Portraits With Santa
The 17th Annual Holiday Artisan and Craft Fair will take place on December 9th through 11th, starting at 11am, at the Sacramento Fine Arts Center (5330-B Gibbons Drive). Admission is free.
