Our special guests for LiveWire this week include representatives from The Sacramento International Film Festival and guests from La Raza Galleria Posada will be here to talk about the Sacramento Day of the Dead event.
It’s the 20th anniversary for the Sacramento International Gay & Lesbian Film Festival marking 2 decades of fantastic films! Representatives from the Film Festival will be on the show to talk about this year’s festival and to share a little bit of information about this year’s films and events. There’s even a VIP pass available to join in on food and beverages in the lounge area of the beautiful Crest Theatre. Films include a screening of “Morgan”, a film that follows a man trying not to go down the same path he followed earlier in his life that lead to a crippling accident. Also showing at the festival is the film “Jamie and Jesse Are Not Together”, a story of friendship and love with music and dance numbers to compliment the tale. There’s also a short film night on Saturday evening. The festival runs October 13th through the 15th.
