At least 13 people were injured in a shooting after a party in a Montgomery, Alabama neighborhood on Saturday night, police said.
A total of 362 rounds were fired at the party in the North Pass area, Mayor Steven Reed said on Facebook Sunday. All the shooting victims had non-life-threatening injuries. Three other people were hurt in a “vehicle vs. pedestrian collision,” and one woman had minor injuries from broken glass, according to a city spokesperson.
“This morning, more than 362 rounds were fired at a crowded party in the North Pass area,” Reed said Sunday morning. “Nine people were wounded, and at least four more were injured in the chaos that followed.”
Officers from the Montgomery Police Department, ATF, and FBI are interviewing witnesses and suspects.
“We are working hard to find those involved, and we ask anyone with information to come forward and help us stop this senseless violence,” Reed continued.
A social media video showed a scene where multiple weapons were fired for about two minutes at the outdoor gathering, causing crowds to run for cover, according to the Montgomery Advertiser.
