A pair of upcoming fundraising events to benefit children’s charities, and administer care to animals are the focus of Live Wire discussions this week.  Tune to Access Sacramento on Comcast Cable channel 17, Wednesday, June 13th at 5:00 p.m.

Host Ray Tatar and guests explore the anatomy of the 5th Annual Lunar Lunacy Moonlit Bicycle Ride presented by the Point West Rotary Club Foundation on Saturday, June 23rd.
Billed as, a Moonlit Ride to Change Kids’ Lives, participants in this majestic 6-mile course form a perpetual rolling light show with illuminated attire and bicycles, and peddle their way through the heart of downtown Sacramento among it’s many iconic landmarks.
Proceeds from this flamboyant, highly popular event continue to benefit Sacramento County foster youth through CASA Sacramento’s Making Memories Program and other local children’s charities.
Ray’s Live Wire discussions  will also examine an eagerly anticipated inaugural event; the Front Street Brewfest, Saturday, June 16th.  Proceeds are devoted to providing better care and safety for the animals in the Front Street Animal Shelter.
Brewfest highlights include a variety of food from top truck vendors, and live music performed by four bands.  The Brewfest is also a beer-drinker’s delight, featuring more than forty breweries providing unlimited tasting.
Both of these early Summer events offer the public enticing unique attractions, local entertainment, and a platform to support two honorable organizations.
