Live Wire Showcases “The Forgotten Theatre Company”

This Wednesday May 30 on Access Sacramento’s Live Wire show, host Ray Tatar interviews the director of the most recent theatrical production by “The Forgotten Theatre Company” and we enjoy four of the stars in a scene from their latest show.
Tune in Wed. May 30 at 5pm on Access Sacramento‘s channel 17.
The Forgotten Theatre Company graces the Access Sacramento TV studio this week with a selection of scenes from John Webster’s production of “The Duchess of Malfi,” directed by Phil B Ryder.
Tune in to enjoy this macabre revenge tragedy, penned in 1614 by a member of Shakespeare’s own theatre company, The King’s Men.
Based on a true story of renaissance Italy, its themes of love, lust, envy and political intrigue are woven into a tapestry of murder, mutilation, mental cruelty and madness!
Join us at 5pm for live scene performances from the play with Leah Finity as “The Duchess”, Maurice T. Williams as “Duke Fredinand”, Joss Lucio as “The Cardinal” and Jesse Janzen as “Daniel de Bosola.”
The Forgotten Theatre Company performs at The California Stage.
