On Saturday, July 28th, the Washington Neighborhood Center held a small workshop for kids and family. It focused on art made with materials from around the house, like tissue paper and paper plates. Check out the Barrio Art Workshop in this video.

Soil Born Farms showcased its American River Ranch during a recent “Tomato Jubilee,” where community members were able to taste a variety of heirloom tomatoes, attend free cooking classes by Chef Rick Mahan and Chef Kurt Spataro, tour the farm, and more.
