In a battle that might determine which team advances to the CIF Sac-Joaquin Section playoffs out of the Sierra Foothill League, the Oak Ridge Trojans defeated the Del Oro Golden Eagles 38-15 on a homecoming night following three-days of no school because of a Placer County power outage.

Oak Ridge took the lead in the first quarter and never looked back. Consistent scoring and offense coupled with six Del Oro turnovers moves the Trojans to 2-2 in League play, 5-2 overall, behind Folsom, Rocklin and Granite Bay in the SFL. Del Oro is now 1-2 in league and 4-3 overall.
