 A Place Called Sacramento

 Place Called Sacramento Film Festival (PCS) is now in its 20th year. This year is a three day celebration starting October 3rd to the red carpet premiere on
October 5th. This week PCS filmmakers guests are ChefnSacramento written by Samantha K Henderson and Flight of the Heron written by Olivia Reedy and Todd Bull. These film makers competed in a script writing competition and went on to creating their films to be shown at the Crest Theater in October.

Alliance Francaise de Sacramento

Bienvenue (Welcome) to Sacramento’s French Culture and Language Center. Alliance Francaise mission statement is “To promote the French language and culture and to foster friendships between native French speakers and people living in the Sacramento region.” They do this by offering language courses and cultural events. Their Open House event happening on September 13th.
