Host Ray Tatar returns into the studio to interview two nonprofits organizations Meals on Wheels and the Wake Up Foundation.

Meals on Wheels – Serving over 2000 seniors, Meals on Wheels, assists seniors in their homes and community by providing nutritious meals, community resources, social contact and safety net services. They also offer All Seasons Cafésthroughout Sacramento county which allows seniors 60 years and older to go out into the community at one of the location and have lunch in a social environment.  For More Information: www.mowsac.org

 

Wake up Foundation – Created in 2013, the Wake-Up Foundation was developed to for youth and young adults to become social change agents in their communities through education and inspiration of personal transformation. Using a holistic approach the program and services focuses on 3 areas; health and wellnesses, self-esteem and career and development goals. One of these projects to help with these 3 areas in the Social Change Project, a 6 month transformation program for youth 16 to 24 with a goal of developing a productive lifestyle.
