Victims’ Rights Symposium – Mariam El-menshawi the Director of Victims of Crime Resource Center will be joining Rat Tatar on Live Wire this Wednesday to talk about the upcoming Victims’ Rights Symposium: Working Together to make Victims’ Rights a Reality happening Friday, April 12, 2019 9 a.m. to  4 p.m. McGeorge School of Law, Classroom C. Marsy’s Law, passed in California in 2008, gives crime victims 17  

rights under the California Constitution. However, these rights are often violated or ignored because victims and service providers are not aware of them or don’t know how to enforce them.
