This weekend on Sunday, September 25, the Oak Park Neighborhood Association is hosting a free medical and dental clinic at Oak Park Community Center at 3415 Martin Luther King Jr Blvd in Sacramento.  From  7:00 AM until 5:00 PM later that day, there will be free services which include diabetes screening & education, illness diagnosis & minor treatments, health promotion & education, and blood pressure screening. Of course there is even more on the dental and vision side. Those dental and vision services include fillings, extractions, cleanings, restorative treatments, and eye exams! As you may have already noticed, most of these services are absolutely amazing considering they are free and that such great professional work isn’t necessarily always easy to come across for certain people.

The clinic is first come, first serve so get there early! All services are indeed free and do not require appointments. AMEN, the Adventist Medical Evangelism Network, are also a part of this event as well. AMEN is a non-profit network of physicians and dentists who continue to work towards providing free dental and medical care to those who cannot afford such services or who lack the insurance required for such care. Because they are a non-profit organization who love to give back to their communities, they are also looking for volunteers. You can apply to work as a volunteer by following this link here. You may apply as either a medical volunteer, non-medical volunteer, or if you’re a student, there are also positions available for you to volunteer as well and gain some experience and knowledge.

So don’t miss this opportunity to receive free and professional care brought to you by professional and local physicians and dentists who are simply looking to give a healing presence to the community. For more information, follow the link here.
