The Vista del Lago Eagles topped the Cordova Lancers 52-35 in a rousing display of passing and rushing by both teams during Access Sacramento‘s Hometown Sports Game of the Week.

Both teams piled on the passing yards but it was the Eagles who converted long drives into points in the 2nd half to claim victory.

Both teams, Coach Mike Stuebing’s Vista del Lago Eagles and Coach Darren Nill’s Cordova Lancers are now 2-2 on their overall records with one more week of non-conference games before the start of league play.

Access Sacramento’s Will James and Jim Dimino narrate the highlights.

Replays of the full game can be seen Tues. Sept. 20 at 7:00 p.m. and Wed. Sept. 21 at 11:00 a.m. on Access Sacramento channel 17 on Comcast and Consolidated Communications cable, channel 14 on AT&T, and streaming from AccessSacramento.org.  Video on Demand is available anytime from the NFHSNetwork.com.
