The #2 Antelope Titans defeated the #11 Sacramento Dragons 31-24 in a CIF Sac-Joaquin Section quarter-final football playoff game televised by Access Sacramento’s Hometown Sports Game of the Week.

Full replays of the game can be seen Sat. Nov. 21 at 11 a.m., Sun., Nov. 22 at 3 a.m., Tues. Nov. 24 at 7 p.m., Wed. Nov. 25 at 11 a.m. and Thursday, Nov. 26 at 3 a.m.

Although the stats were relatively even, Sac High turnovers made the difference, giving Antelope great field position or ending long Dragon marches down the field, yielding no points, but burning up valuable time on the clock.

Antelope’s DeVaughn Silver earned Access Sacramento Player of the Game honors, scoring two TD’s and carrying the ball 21 times for 146 yards.

Sacramento High’s Tariq Hollandsworth was named Player of the Game for the Dragons, with two TD’s on runs of eight-yards and one-yard, and carrying the ball 14 times for 128 yards including a 68 yard dash down the sidelines.

The Titans move into a semi-final game with Rocklin next week.
