Summer time is approaching and People Reaching Out is hosting a summer program for youth called L.A.B. (learning, achieving, believing). People Reaching Out is a local nonprofit that helps young people with a variety of things such as educational enhancement and social skills.
This 5-week summer program will be held at Consumes River College. It will consist of a variety of activities for grade levels 7-12.
“Providing constructive summer options that keep young people engaged and away from poor choices so that they do not lose focus on their future is our goal,” says Alondra Young from People Reaching Out.
To be more specific, there will be activities such as arts, music, dance, recreation and more. Lunch and snacks will be provided for the participants.
