This week on LiveWire! It’s the last week of January, My Sister’s House and BloodSource will be coming in to help observe National Human Trafficking Awareness and National Blood Donor Month.

My Sister’s House is a Sacramento non-profit organization that exists to eliminate domestic violence, sexual assault, and human trafficking in our community.

They serve Asian and Pacific Islander and other underserved women and children impacted by domestic violence, sexual assault, and human trafficking by providing a culturally appropriate and responsive safe haven, job training, and community service.

Through the generosity of donors throughout Northern and Central California, BloodSource provides for every drop of blood used by over 40 hospitals in 25 counties – from Merced to the Oregon border, from Vallejo to Lake Tahoe.
