We are celebrating two non profits for nationally recognized causes in January. The Society for the Blind will talk about Braille literacy and the Kawasaki Disease Foundation will share the importance of blood transfusions. Both 501(c)3 non-profits are from Sacramento.

In their 60th year of service to the Sacramento region and Northern California, the Society of the Blind’s mission remains to empower individuals who are blind or with low vision to live productively and independently by building confidence through training, tools and mentorship.
