Sacramento’s Alt+ Program and California Stage play “The Vanishing Point” on LiveWire this Week

LiveWire is happy to welcome guests from The Sacramento Public Library. Lori Easterwood and Jessica Zaker will be on the program to talk about the Library’s Alt+ events. The Alt means alternative and many of the events are fun and unique ways of experiencing literature and Sacramento culture.  They range from fun book club meetings to Punk Rock Aerobics classes. Guests from California Stage will be on the program to tell us about their upcoming award winning play “The Vanishing Point” by Nedra Pezold Roberts. The play follows a family through the summer of 2005 just before Hurricane Katrina arrived. The bayou they live in and the state of the family are both in a fragile state.
