Sacramento resident Ajay Lawson is a superstar in many local circles. She’s served on Youth @ City Council. She’s a LGBTQ advocate who has worked with the California Endowment and other organizations. She’s the all around example of the type of young person we need in Sacramento.
And while performing all the great feats which come with being a community advocate, Lawson has to worry about what might happen to her when she gets sick because she doesn’t have health insurance.
