“Sacramento Has Talent & then Some!”

Sacramento is full of talented folks! This week we will have guests from the play by George Bernard Shaw “Widower’s Houses”. Here is an excerpt from California Stage:

“This early work of Shaw not only  fulfills his aim to expose the hidden ties between pleasant people who imagine that the sordid dealings of slum-lords do not touch them, but it also entertains mightily. Shaw categorizes this play in his anthology as ‘Unpleasant’”

LiveWire is exited to share information about “Sacramento Has Talent”. It’s the first Annual Sacramento Talent Show and competition. It’s also the first time the very special “Power of Voice” award will be given out. This year it honors Dr. Barbara O’Conner, Ph.D. for her good works. The event will have special guest Hosts including Mellisa Paul of Sacramento & Company, Mark S. Allen of cw31, and Richard Lewis of California Musical Theatre. The event Emcee is Dennis Mangers. The event benefits Access Sacramento’s Neighborhood New Youth Correspondent stipend program.  The event will have loads of Sacramento Talent. The event takes place Thursday, April 4th at the beautiful Crest Theatre. Join us to see who will be competing at the first Sacramento Has talent!
