On Saturday, December 8th, volunteers from all over the Sacramento area arrived at the Volunteer Center of Sacramento to assist in decorating the building that will hold hundreds of presents this year for low-income families. The gifts will be delivered and distributed from now until Christmas. In 2010, the center adopted 222 families, and by 2011, that number had nearly doubled. With a lot of hard-working volunteers, 2012 could be the best year the Adopt-a-Family Program has had.
