Yoga is a relaxing way to strengthen your body, relax your mind, and energize your day. I have practiced yoga for a few years now but my passion lies in Bikram yoga, which I discovered this year. Bikram is a 90 minute practice that involves two breathing exercises and a sequence of 26 postures. During the last seven months or so I have committed myself to Bikram yoga at Yoga Loka  studio in Sacramento. And I love it! From dedicating a few hours a week to focus on number one, me, I feel strong, confident and healthy!

Right now is a perfect time to start practicing yoga. Why? Because next month, September, is National Yoga Month, and and you should get ahead! It is a great time to start reaping the benefits of a regular practice now. Studios all over the nation will be offering week long classes for free but I know where you can start now…
