Most people in Sacramento don’t have to think too hard about where their next meal is going to come from, but for many, figuring out how to provide healthy food choices for themselves and their families is a difficult task. The participants of La Familia’s Youth Voice program recently sat down and had an honest discussion about how they decided what they can afford to eat, and what they can’t, and what food access means to them.
