Sacramento Press is the host organization for this exciting annual event honoring youth created digital media projects from throughout the region. For the first time, the event is being held on a school day and teachers and students from around the world are invited to participate.

For the first time John F. Kennedy and C.K. McClatchy Senior High Schools will join the live “streaming” television program as virtual studios. Middle-school students from Will C. Wood will also demonstrate their “Youth Block Reports” Project. Eight other video projects and their young creators will be featured and discussed.

The event will close with comments from Jared Goyette, new Editor-In-Chief of the Sacramento Press – the community reporting website where community reporters of all ages are welcomed to contribute online stories and pictures about their organizations, neighborhoods, and news of the day at www.SacPress.com.
