Are you a middle school or high school student using digital media to influence your world – friends, family, school, and neighborhood? If so, enter your digital media – video, YouTube, web blog, Flickr photos, website, etc. – to the third annual YMF.

Visit www.AccessSacramento.org/YMF for all the details.

If selected, your work will be highlighted at the May 11 YMF showcase, hosted by the Sacramento Press. This year the event (11 AM – 2 PM) will be streamed “live,” inviting participation from youth throughout the region. As we near the event on Friday May 11, the URL for the stream and more details on how you can participate will be shared.

The YMF event marks the third year of cooperation between Access Sacramento, UC Davis School of Education, the Sacramento City Unified School District and local major media organizations such as KCRA Channel 3, the Sacramento Bee.

Win Prizes like digital cameras, gift cards, and i-Pads. Neat T-Shirts will be awarded to key participants so don’t be left out. The theme this year is “My Voice Counts”. So make a difference and check out the details. The deadline for entry is March 30 – don’t delay – make your voice count!
